Let Hachi share a feeling right now quickly.
It is because, even though she tried to write down what she was thinking(feeling) many times, she cannot complete that at the moment.
However, she somehow feels she needs to respond quickly.
Her feeling (for the future) right now is in the two songs.

In two songs below as well, which are the ones she listens to lately.
In Hachi’s mind, there are some countries somehow*.
And she is talking to them like a shy child, giving them a little wave around her waist, saying “hi”.
There might be some hints in the songs below to feel into famine nature. There might be not.
She feels that a key (for Asia) might be rebuilding family relationships inside a country and between countries.
Why?
It is because family system lies in Asian society and our basic nature.
How can we truly flourish with holes where our energies are drained?
This is just a note for Hachi herself.
“The promise”
She just heard that there might be different and variety of points about “the promise” regarding NATO in 1990.

And there seemed to be differences between what the US focused on and Russia did.
From Russia’s viewpoint, the promise means preventing NATO from expanding any further east, and from the NATO’s and the US’s viewpoint, the promise had more details.
Hachi heard what the president of Russia said about “the promise” at the end of 2021.
She felt that he was talking about his honest thoughts and feelings as well as what he did not want to face: no one wants to be attacked nor feel insecure.
(She is one of the people who is worried about the situation between Russia and Ukraine, and is usually scared of the president of Russia.)
Therefore, she was thinking of the difference between the ordinary impression of the president of Russia, and what he said and his atmosphere at the end of 2021.
Protect All
Russia, the US, NATO and Ukraine might be in the tense situation right now, yet different viewpoints were emerged by talking to each other.
Finding the difference might be difficult because it is so subtle, but they all did.
Hachi feels that one of the biggest steps and changes is emerging right now.
(Hachi wondered where this postscript had to be put, here or “Red Fruits“.
According to “a best step”, “Red Fruits” would be suitable.
However, what Hachi feels right now is “a very feeling for the future”: a very new way of protecting all people*.)

(* Hachi was looking for the part the president of Russia talked about his thoughts and feelings about “the promise” regarding NATO, while she was doing embroidery.
When she finally found the part on the internet, the news about tension between Ukraine and Russia was broadcasted from the television, which made Hachi surprised.
Therefore, she decided to add the link of the Russia’s annual news conference in 2021 above.
Hachi cannot understand “A” immediately attacks “B” when “A” could not get the result as it hoped.
She also thinks that “A” cannot keep “B” by force if “B” wants to leave: A sustainable country has to be built upon trust.
However, she still feels something about the part: if there was the conversation about preventing NATO from expanding any further east behind the scenes, and it was ruined by saying it was not written, it seems to be natural that a person gets hurt and angry.
The “promise” in 1990 seems to be floating in the air.)
Tidying up internal stuffs
Hachi has been feeling lately that tidying up internal stuffs is sometimes much harder than expressing opinions or feelings.
Why?
Is it because progress cannot be seen immediately?
Is it because tidying stuffs sometimes/often requires a deeper thought of a new framework?
Ummm, Hachi does not have an answer yet.
Being aware of power
If the shadow or the dream of the Soviet Union is in the air as well as “the promise”, she started to be curious about “why did the collapse of the Soviet Union occur?”
Was it because of the attack on Afghanistan and the increasing costs of the war?
Was it because of the competition for expansion of armaments?
Was it because of crude oil price falling in 1980s?
She does not know the answer yet, again, because she just started to think of that.
However, she perhaps sees that expanding something, following “the shadow”, (without fulfilling inside of a stuff), sometimes causes not only action but also reaction (beyond intentions).
Therefore, Hachi thinks that we need to be careful to use power and be aware of power.
Hachi is not sure she should write below now, yet those are what she thinks about in the foggy mood (before she fell asleep and woke up) lately.
Those might mean something or nothing.
Each country’s negative aspect
If negative aspects of each country’s nature were collected, what are they?
(Sorry to four countries for focusing on negative aspects, and she would like to let you know ahead of time that all assumptions are from Hachi’s narrow viewpoint.)
Japanese nature might be like this: If its calmness and obedience were flipped, it might become crazy enough to attack on something as a whole illogically.
The US’s nature might be like this: If its thunder-like power was radiated in a hidden upset mood without certain evidence, it could actually kill people.
Chinese nature might be like this: If a lot (and lot) of rules (including tiny ones) were created and imposed, that might make itself be unable to move and destroy.
Russian nature might be like this: If it made a promise, pretended to follow the promise and broke the promise suddenly, it could not be trusted anymore and would be isolated.
Each person or each country has variety of aspects.
If negative aspects came together, the situation would definitely cause a huge conflict.
Leadership which holds all sides
Hachi also wondered that why people in authority have a right to cause a potential war?
Ummm…? Do they actually have a right to do so??
People’s confusion sometimes occurs because of lack of the leadership which holds all sides.
Opponent of democracy?
Hachi basically likes democracy even if it takes time to make a decision.
If there is an opponent of democracy, is it only autocracy or absolutism…??
Hachi feels autocracy or absolutism can be an opponent.
However, if social systems can be applied to the viewpoint of the stages of human development,
and if she sees variety of social systems from that viewpoint, she has other questions:
“Is autocracy or absolutism really an opponent?
Isn’t there something we need to learn fully in order to move to a next stage?”
Conversation on a white board
Hachi happened to watch the music video of “Bad Day” by Daniel Powter (You Tube) yesterday.
She really enjoyed to watch it.
From her foggy viewpoint, the woman and the man seemed to be Russia and the US.
What connects each other?
When Hachi watched this part (2:20), it reminded her that the Chinese Foreign Minister mentioned the New Minsk Agreements lately.
When she saw the part (1:12), the atmosphere of the warm feeling somehow reminded her of the smiling face of the president of Russia when he visited Nagato and people along the road welcomed him.
The whole music video and the song reminded Hachi of exhausted hearts and exciting feelings.
(While two people are working everyday without knowing to where it leads, they happened to draw images on the white board(?) in the station, which becomes like a conversation and made their lives richer).
(Hachi likes the woman’s naughtiness and honesty to herself….!!)
(The atmosphere of the music video somehow encourages Hachi to write this, which she wanted to write but did not know where:
a member of the Diet (of Japan) talked in the news program that he asked himself with slight regret that Japan might recognize China as a factory.
(Sorry for the objectivity in the sentence, and Hachi hopes that you see what she tries to tell you.))
Hachi mentioned only four countries but this is also in her mind: Ukraine, France, the UK, Germany are speaking up.
Afghanistan attended the meeting in Norway.

It is late in Japan (so that she needs to go to bed).
A lot of things happen outside and inside, but let’s have a lovely day, and a bad day as well….!
Even though the situation is not fully resolved (and Hachi is not fully relieved), the slight crack (in a positive way) to feel a hope (or to enter the slight light) to the situation for all seems to be appearing.
We all are witnessing and sharing the path.
(Hachi does hope the crack in a positive way grows like the photo of the bracts of wintersweet in order to create petals gradually.)

She likes to see the bracts: how the buds grow.
There is something Hachi would like to write down because she feels that she would regret if she did not.
She heard that a person who is in charge of a huge country tried to get along with an intergovernmental military alliance, but something happened, so that he has had suspicious feelings for 17? or 15? years. (Sorry, she could not take a note of the exact number.)
Hachi felt those were so long time.
The suspicious feelings might not have a chance to be expressed nor heard, and he tried to protect his country in his own way.
Of course, that might be Hachi’s naive assumption, but she would like to say (even if she is arrogant to do so) like this:
“Thank you for expressing your honest thoughts and feelings. That must be hard not only to do so but also hold the feelings back for a long time.”
Expressing ourselves, especially our deepest feelings, sometimes makes us feel vulnerable.
However, that creates a space for something new to emerge.
(Hachi feels that that is another way of strength.)
Why Now?
Even though Hachi started to realize that the existence of an intergovernmental military alliance makes Russia feel insecure from Russia’s viewpoint, why has Russian military exercise which has caught a huge amount of attention from all over the world, been taking place now?
Is it just planed?
Is it connected with the Olympic Games?
Split feelings
When Hachi thought of Russia, she remembered its elegance in passionate and detailed work (she thought it might be Russia’s nature) such as embroidery or figure skating.
However, she could not pick up figure skating.
It was because of Russia’s issue of doping in sports, which is said to take place as a country.
Now, ironically and coincidently, Russia’s doping issue on figure skating caught a huge amount of attention from all over the world, again.
Why Russia’s actions (military exercise and doping in sports) are arising in people’s mind at the same time?
What is that expressing?
Maybe is it why people feels split conflicting messages in them?
Maybe are there other reasons?
Incongruity
Russia is a sort of autocracy country, right? (Elections took place but it is said that variety of tricks were played on them. It is also said that a way for another presidential term was paved.)
Russian athletes are being part of the Olympic Games as ROC (Russian Olympic Committee), not as RUS (a country of Russia).
Then, why did a national leader of Russia attend the opening ceremony?
Why did he cheer athletes in his country?
Why did a leader of the host country welcome him?
Those behaviors seem to say that “I don’t care any rules, ethics nor moral values. The Olympics is the great opportunity to make people hustle. I will get a result as I want in my own way. Therefore, I don’t have a boundary nor an idea of stepping back. What I do is a rule.”
Irregular postscript, added on 23 February, 2022
Perhaps they are living only in the world of hierarchy even when the world is shifting to more “ameba-like” emergence world, which might make them scared.
It is/might be okay for them to keep the ordinary attitudes if they are comfortable and it is sustainable.
They might think they are fighting against people who have opposite ideas.
However, Hachi doesn’t think so: they are fighting against the flow of the times (which is from a viewpoint of human history, and which is beyond individuals. Power is shared among people more and more than ancient times, like the Michael Jackson’s song of “Heal the World“).
That means they are fighting against things like air.
When they think they beat A, but then, A’ will appear, because A or A’ is like a thing in the air so that those might be endlessly appearing.
Therefore, one of the best ways might be changing yourself by yourself, including getting out of a position gradually (not kicking out by other people but choose to do so by yourself.)
However, they won’t listen to this idea so that forget about that…..!
Even though an intergovernmental military alliance said to increase the number of soldiers in Europe, they seem to stay in some countries except Ukraine in order to rescue civilians.
On the other hand, even though Russia is saying it is open to discuss about the issue further and aired the short movie that its military was leaving Crimea, it also mentioned that it had nuclear weapons and might use ‘military skills'”, and cyber attacks on Ukraine seemed to appear somehow at the same time.
Which combination of the statement and the action is more congruent?
Incongruity also makes a crack in a negative way.
From the crack, a slight collective voice is appearing: “we don’t want greedy people, especially in authority.”
History of a person who twisted things
Last night, Hachi remembered that she watched the examination of a witness in the actual video of The International Military Tribunal for the Far East.
Hideki Tojo was surrounded by many people in authority, seemed to be brave in his golden age, and he perhaps had his own logic why he agreed to participate the WWII.
However, at the international military tribunal for the far east, what he said was totally illogical.
That showed he twisted many things and projected his ambition and his internal conflicts onto the war.
When Hachi watched the examination of Hideki Tojo, she could not help having a feeling of weakness, because she thought that pain which is beyond description and death of Japanese civilians were (partially) caused by his incongruity.
As she was thinking like that, cool eyes also emerged in Hachi’s mind from the crack, which she never expected.
(Yeah, she sometimes become like this even when she still does hope that “petals are growing in bracts”. Or she might need to be like that in order to let petals grow…..?? She is not sure yet.)
