Stories about the work and the creator
Ito, who is now in her 80s, has made embroidery works for her family and herself.
This work is one of them.
-
I made this Indian girl bag for my granddaughter, who was a elementary school student.
I chose the motif because I hoped she had fun going to school with this bag.
The bag handles are holding the bag itself so that she could carry heavy books easily and safely.
Lately Ito feels like having more fun and sharing joy of hand crafts with old and new friends.
